MIA releases pictures from place of shootout in Kizilyurt District of Dagestan

According to updated information, one of the suspects killed in the Dagestani village of Stalskoe was a member of the "Khasavyurt" militant grouping, and the second suspect was an accomplice of the militants. Meanwhile, the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) has disseminated pictures of the car driven by the killed suspects and shelled by law enforcers.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on October 21, a shootout occurred in the village of Stalskoe of the Kizilyurt District. According to the official version, a squad of law enforcers was shelled from a car, which the law enforcers tried to stop to check documents. As a result of the armed clash, two attackers were killed. According to the National Antiterrorist Committee (NAC), the killed suspects were involved in terrorist crimes.

"It has been revealed that one of the suspects went into hiding last month, after neutralization of the 'Khasavyurt' criminal grouping. The other suspect in the car was an accomplice of the militants, who supplied them with clothing, food and medicine," states the report.

It is also reported that law enforcers seized a submachine gun and a pistol from the place of the special operation and that no staff member of the MIA and FSB was injured.

Let us remind you that according to the law enforcement bodies, a special operation in the village Kvanada of the Tsumada District was carried out almost at the same time when the shootout in the village of Stalskoe occurred. Two suspects were killed in the CTO in the village of Kvanada, and the law enforcement bodies recognized them as members of a local militant grouping.
