Sochi residents commemorate victims of Tu-154 crash

Today, the resort city has held a church memorial service about those who perished in the crash of Tu-154 with the participation of victims' relatives, and mourning ceremonies held in Sochi squares and at sea berths.

There were 92 persons on board: 64 performers of the Alexandrov Ensemble, nine journalists, eight servicemen, eight crew members, two civil servants and Elizaveta Glinka, a member of the Presidential Human Rights Council.

Today in Sochi, the Archangel Mikhail Church has hosted a memorial service for those killed in the air crash, which was attended by victims' relatives, friends and parishioners, Father Rustic, a priest of the church, told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.

As reported by Irina Krasovskaya, the head of the "Silver Age" Bloc, people brought flowers and funeral wreaths to the square.

She added that mourning actions will continue on December 27 will continue, including in the Southern Pier Square. The action, in particular, will be continued by the Rachmaninoff String Quartet.

Today, Maxim Sokolov, the head of the Ministry of Transports, has stated that the main versions of the crash are a piloting error or a technical malfunction. According to his story, a terror act is not considered among the main versions.
