On June 12-18, there were no victims of armed conflict in Northern Caucasus
During the week from June 12 to June 18, 2017, there were no casualties or wounded people in the armed conflict in Northern Caucasus. These are the results of the calculations run by the "Caucasian Knot", based on its own materials and information from other open sources.
Special and counterterrorist operations
On June 13, at 7:00 p.m. Moscow time, the counterterrorist operation (CTO) regime, introduces on April 20, was lifted in the villages of Nizhni Djingutai, Durangi and Karamakhi of the Buynaksk District, and Durgeli, Gurbuki and Gubden of the Karabudakhkent District of Dagestan. The results of the CTO are not reported.
Detentions
On June 15, in the Grozny District of the ChechenRepublic, two residents of the village of Starye Atagi, aged 41 and 51 years, were detained by law enforcers on suspicion of illegal manufacture and sale of firearms. In their households, they equipped underground workshops for converting traumatic pistols into combat ones.
Disappearances
On June 13, in the village of Chervlennye Buruny of the Nogay District of Dagestan, power agents detained Rashid Abdurakhmanov, a local resident. Later, Abdurakhmanov called his wife, who is in the district maternity hospital in the village of Terekli-Mekteb, the district centre. Abdurakhmanov said that he was released, but suddenly the conversation was interrupted. Since that moment his phone has been switched off; and his relatives cannot get through to him. His whereabouts are unknown. Employees of the ROVD (district interior division) told them that "he was not in the ROVD, or in the OVD of the city of Kizlyar." One of Abdurakhmanov's relatives said that he had a conditional sentence for a brawl, but he was not on the record for extremism. On June 15, it became known that Rashid Abdurakhmanov is kept at one of the police stations of Dagestan, and he was detained for three days for petty hooliganism. On June 16, Abdurakhmanov's mother and wife came to Makhachkala to the Kirov ROVD. They saw Rashid Abdurakhmanov in the territory of the ROVD, but at 2:00 p.m. Moscow time, when he was to be released, he did not show up; and half an hour later a police officer said that he was not at the ROVD. The current location of Abdurakhmanov is unknown.
