CTO regime introduced in North Ossetia for the first time in two years

The CTO (counterterrorist operation) regime, introduced today in North Ossetia, has become the second CTO since August 2015, when they looked for weapons in the village of Chermen.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that today, in the vicinity of the North-Ossetian village of Chmi, law enforcers killed three persons. According to the Russian National Antiterrorist Committee (NAC), they had planned to attack policemen.

In the course of the CTO, power agents confiscated rifles, a grenade launcher and a lot of ammunition, the North-Ossetian operational headquarters reports. The CTO regime was cancelled on the same day.

On the previous occasion, the CTO regime was introduced in North Ossetia on April 24, 2015, after reports about possible presence of members of the armed underground in the Prigorodny District.
