Court arrests eighth suspect accused in case on terror act at Crocus City Hall

A court in Moscow arrested Alisher Kasimov, a native of Kyrgyzstan, on the charge of involvement in organizing the terror act at the Crocus City Hall. A mother of the arrested man claims that her son rented out an apartment through an advertisement website to those accused of the terror act and was not involved in what happened.

The “Caucasian Knot” has reported that on March 22, armed people started shooting at the Crocus City Hall concert hall in the Moscow Region. As a result, 139 people perished. The court arrested for two months natives of Tajikistan Dalerdjon Mirzoev, Saidakrami Rachabalizod, Shamsidin Fariduni, and Mukhammadsobir Faizov, accused of committing the terror act. On March 25, Russian citizens Aminchon and Dilovar Islomov and their father Isroil Islomov, a citizen of Tajikistan, were arrested.

The Basmanny District Court of Moscow arrested until May 22 Alisher Kasimov, a native of Kyrgyzstan. The man is accused of organizing the terror act, the press service for the general jurisdiction courts of the City of Moscow reports in its Telegram channel.

According to Alisher Kasimov’s version, he got acquainted with the perpetrators of the terror act while renting out an apartment through the “Avito” advertisement website, the TASS reports.

“He is not guilty, he was just renting out an apartment ... He has three children... He is not a terrorist,” said Alisher Kasimov’s mother. The woman noted that she asked her son to rent out the apartment to Russians only.
