Ingush court orders to evict 54 IDPs from TAC "Promzhilbaza"

The Karabulak District Court has ruled to evict 54 residents of the temporary accommodation centre (TAC) "Promzhilbaza", because they have not extended their status of internally displaced persons (IDPs), said the lawyer Mikail Mutsolgov.

Initially, the administration of Karabulak demanded to evict 76 persons from the territory of "Promzhilbaza". In the course of considering the case, the administration withdrew the claims against some of the TAC residents with non-renewal IDP status, but then again demanded their eviction.

According to Mutsolgov, in the new lawsuit the Karabulak administration demands to evict 56 people; but in the course of the session, two women were excluded from the list.

"One of them was put on the list by mistake, the other has her extended IDP status," the lawyer told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.

Mutsolgov has added that the defence and residents of "Promzhilbaza" do not agree with the court decision and will appeal against it.

Let us remind you that according to the administration of Karabulak, currently the "Promzhilbaza" is inhabited by 223 people – members of 77 families. Among them are, in particular, there are IDPs from Chechnya and the Prigorodny District of North Ossetia.
