Volunteers of the Charitable Foundation "Be merciful" detained in Khasavyurt

Today, the Khasavyurt police detained Sadiyat Arslanova and Aisha Abakarova, residents of Makhachkala and volunteers of the Charitable Foundation "Be merciful".

"They are volunteers, engaged in charity; they help people. They came to Khasavyurt on business. When they entered the bank to withdraw money from the banking card, policemen followed them into the building, checked their documents and demanded that they go with them to the police station. The women refused; then policemen promised to call reinforcements and take them away by force. They had to get into the police van," a women's acquaintance told the" Caucasian Knot" correspondent on condition of anonymity.

Let us remind you that this March Sadiyat Arslanova filed a complaint to the Dagestani Regional Public Organization (DRPO) "Pravozaschita" (Advocacy), stating that power agents had included her data into the list of potential terrorists. According to Sadiyat Arslanova, she was put on the list of potential terrorists after her husband Kochubek Kochubekov was killed in a special operation in Makhachkala on July 23, 2013.
