Photo album about Shushi and its residents presented in Nagorno-Karabakh
The photo album about the city of Shushi created within the project "Shushi. 48 Hours" has included more than 200 works of photographers from Armenia, Georgia, and Nagorno-Karabakh. The main heroes of the project were city residents, and the photographers tried to reflect their everyday activities. This was noted by the author and the project coordinator.
On September 13, the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent was informed by Asmik Shandyan, the chief for the Stepanakert branch of the Armenian National Educational and Cultural Union, that the photo album was presented at the Nagorno-Karabakh State Museum of Arts in Shushi.
According to Asmik Shandyan, the photo project "Shushi. 48 Hours" was held in the period from June 30 to July 1 2017 on the initiative of the "Armenian National Educational and Cultural Union" with the support of the Nagorno-Karabakh Ministry for Culture and Youth Affairs.
"Within 48 hours, 10 professional and young photographers from Nagorno-Karabakh, Armenia, and Georgia were carrying out photo sessions in the city of Shushi," Asmik Shandyan said.
The photo album "Shushi. 48 Hours" is published in Armenian, Russian, and English languages, and before the end of the year it will be presented in Beirut and in the USA.
