"Tergi" administration promises privileges for entrepreneurs affected by fire

During the restoration of the shopping centre "Tergi", owners of the retail outlets, whose property was destroyed by fire, will enjoy preferential terms for the rent of premises, the administration of the Tbilisi shopping centre announces. The Georgian Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) put forward a version about the arson of the building.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that the fire in the Tbilisi shopping centre "Tergi-1", which started at night on February 27, consumed at least 3000 square meters of commercial space. No people were injured, but most of the owners of retail outlets claimed their goods were not insured and their damage could exceed 20,000 laris (about 8000 US dollars). They did not rule out that the market was set on fire.

For those owners of retail outlets, whose goods were insured, the damage will be reimbursed by insurance companies. And for the rest of entrepreneurs, the administration of the shopping centre will provide places for the time of the "Tergi" restoration on preferential terms, announced on February 27 Giga Kverenchkhiladze, a lawyer of the administration of the shopping centre.

According to Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze, the administration of the shopping centre stands ready to hold individual meetings with all tenants. "These people will have preferential terms. I have in mind the amount of the rent. As for the damage, the ['Tergi'] administration stands ready to individually meet each person and examine the contracts," the Mayor said as quoted by the "News Georgia".
