Three Georgian residents detained on Abkhazian border

Abkhazian law enforcers have detained three residents of the Georgian village of Muzhava, the Georgia's State Security Service (SSS) has informed.

The incident occurred on June 6 in the Tsalendjikh District of Georgia, bordering on the Gali District of Abkhazia.

According to the preliminary version, Abkhazian law enforcers detained the residents of Georgia, when they were collecting scrap metal, and delivered them to the isolation facility in Gali, the "News-Georgia" reported on June 7, citing the SSS.

The SSS has launched a hotline; and the European Union Monitoring Mission has been informed about the incident, the "InterPressNews" has reported.
