Shelling of Azerbaijani frontline villages intensified

The shelling of Azerbaijani dwelling settlements continues; the cities of Ganja, Terter, Barda, Beylagan and Goradiz got under fire, the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defence (MoD) has reported. According to the General Prosecutor's Office (GPO) of Azerbaijan, the death toll of civilians rose to 26; the number of wounded civilians has reached 127. Villagers are losing their livestock, and schools are under fire in villages, local residents inform.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on October 5, the Azerbaijani MoD reported about shelling of the cities of Beylagan, Barda and Tartar.

The Azerbaijani MoD has announced the destroyed enemy's equipment and refuted Armenia's information about the death of its 200 soldiers.

According to Suleiman Guliev, a resident of the village of Askipara, Terter District, the village school and private houses were damaged; and cattle perished. "In recent days, the shelling has intensified and became destructive," the man has added.

Samed Babaev, a resident of the Shukurbeili village of the Fizuli District, said that the shelling of the village has continued for a week already. Local residents cannot do their farming.
