Zarema Musaeva tells about fainting during court's pronouncing her arrest

During a court session in Grozny, Zarema Musaeva felt bad; and the ruling to arrest her was made when she was unconscious.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that a criminal case is being investigated against Musaeva for an attack on a law enforcer. The Grozny court has arrested her until April 1. Musaeva complained to advocates about her poor state of health. The attack on a state servant, imputed to Musaeva, is a harsh article and is punished severely, an advocate has noted.

The advocates have again visited Zarema Musaeva, Natalia Kurekina, the press secretary of the "Committee against Torture" (CaT)* has informed, adding that on February 8, the court session was held while Zarema was unconscious.

Read the “Caucasian Knot” reference material “How Yangulbaevs became Kadyrov’s enemies” to find how the conflict began, what accusations Ramzan Kadyrov voiced, what the Yangulbaev family answered the leader of Chechnya, and what role in the development of the situation was played by an opposition Telegram channel.

Natalia Dobronravova, an advocate, has found out that Musaeva feels unwell: she has severe weakness, and it's difficult for her to walk. However, she receives some medical care.

Zarema Musaeva is a "real fighter": she categorically denies the offenses imputed to her and believes that she will be released, the advocate has noted.
