Police report continuation of raids in Urus-Martan

Armed law enforcers continue examining cars in the roads of the Urus-Martan District. The information about sending violators to the military operation zone is not true, the head of the district police has stated.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that more than 500 law enforcers were involved in the search for citizens who were watching the conflict with the participation of a GIBDD (traffic police) inspector. This was preceded by Ramzan Kadyrov's promise to send employees of all law enforcement bodies to the city, to whom Urus-Martan residents "could voice out their claims." A few days after the conflict, authorities gathered the local elders, calling on them to educate the youth.

On December 10, a resident of Urus-Martan slapped the GIBDD inspector, who responded by shooting at the ground. "I give instructions that officers of all special units of Chechnya should go to Urus-Martan. You have a choice – either fight with them, or we'll send you to the special operation zone. Prove that you are men," Ramzan Kadyrov addressed local residents.

Road raids are being conducted in the Urus-Martan District, the local police reported in their Telegram channel. Law enforcers paid special attention to "gross traffic violations."

Valid Batsilov, the head of the Urus-Martan ROVD (District Interior Division), has treated the information that violators of traffic rules will be forcibly sent to the special operation zone as untrue, the "Grozny Inform" Agency has reported.

On December 12, one of the law enforcers told about raids in Urus-Martan, during which they checked drivers' documents of drivers and the presence of glass tinting in cars. When found, law enforcers broke tinted windows, an oppositional Telegram channel has informed.
