US troops injured during Agile Spirit exercises in Georgia

Two American soldiers were taken to a Tbilisi clinic from the Krtsanisi training ground, their car overturned during the exercises.

As reported by "Kavkazsky Uzel", US servicemen are participating in the multinational NATO military exercises Agile Spirit 2025 in Georgia, despite Washington's revision of its strategic relations with Tbilisi. The exercises at the training ground near Tbilisi will last until August 8, and 800 US servicemen are involved.

An incident involving American servicemen occurred today on the territory of the NATO-Georgia Joint Training and Evaluation Center (JTEC) in Krtsanisi, where the exercises are taking place. During the maneuvers, the vehicle in which the American soldiers were located overturned, Novosti-Gruzia reports. 

The soldiers were transported to the hospital directly from the training ground by helicopter, after a preliminary examination at the Gudushauri clinic in Tbilisi, they were transferred to the Mediclub clinic, Tbilisi life reports. 

The information about the incident was confirmed by the Georgian Defense Ministry. According to the department, the servicemen received moderate injuries and are in satisfactory condition. 

Doctors at the Mediclub clinic told journalists that the lives of the soldiers are not in danger, they have been diagnosed with bruises. Nevertheless, it was decided to leave the victims under observation in a hospital for some time, the Georgian First Channel reports.
