Dagestani soldier killed in Ukraine

Ikran Ikramov from Novolaksky district was killed in the combat zone in the Kharkov region. Since the beginning of the Russian operation in Ukraine, the authorities have publicly named 1,488 combatants from Dagestan killed there.

As "Kavkazsky Uzel" reported, by July 31, the authorities and security forces recognized at least 1,487 fighters from Dagestan as killed in the special military operation in Ukraine.

The name of another soldier from Dagestan killed in Ukraine was named today by the administration of Novolaksky district. Ikran Ikramov, a native of the village of Novolakskoye, a former policeman, served as a sapper.

Ikran served in the army immediately after school, then worked in the Novolaksky OMVD. In the combat zone, he took the call sign "Lakets" and received the award "For Bravery, 2nd Degree," the municipality said in a statement.

Ikran Ikramov was killed on June 19, 2025, in the Kharkiv region. He was 31 years old at the time of his death.
