Seven drones shot down over Kuban

The military destroyed seven aircraft-type drones launched from Ukraine over the territory of Krasnodar Krai.

As "Kavkazsky Uzel" wrote, on the night of July 31 to August 1, according to the Russian Defense Ministry, 60 Ukrainian drones were intercepted, including 12 in Rostov Oblast and five in Krasnodar Krai.

The Russian Defense Ministry reported today that between 20:00 Moscow time on August 1, before midnight, air defense systems destroyed and intercepted 18 Ukrainian aircraft-type drones. Seven UAVs were shot down over the territory of the Krasnodar Territory, the department reported on its Telegram channel.

In addition, it is reported that five drones were shot down over the waters of the Sea of Azov, the rest - over the Voronezh and Belgorod regions.

In total, according to the Ministry of Defense, over the past week from July 26 to August 1, air defense systems shot down 1,446 aircraft-type unmanned aerial vehicles, and since the beginning of the air defense operation - 73,848 UAVs.

Recall that Taganrog, Novoshakhtinsk, as well as Myasnikovsky, Rodionovo-Nesvetaisky, Neklinovsky and Tarasovsky districts of the Rostov Region were attacked by drones on the night of July 30-31. As a result of the attack, homes of Novoshakhtinsk residents and villagers in the Neklinovsky district were damaged. The authorities promised to help the victims restore their property.
