In Ingushetia, court session on ChCNS' complaint postponed till April 1
On February 28, the court continued the proceeding on the claim of the Regional Public Movement "Chechen Committee of National Salvation" (ChCNS) against the Department of the Federal Registration Service for the Republic of Ingushetia (DFRS for the RI).
Each of the parties presented its arguments and reasons in support of its position. Then, upon the consent of the parties the continuation of the proceeding was postponed till April 1, 2008.
The "Ingushetia.Ru" website reports with a reference to the press service of the ChCNS that during the judicial session certain details were revealed, which confirm the inconsistency of individual claims moved by the FRS ("Rosregistratsia").
In particular, in 2007, representatives of the Ingush "Rosregistratsia" failed to properly notify the ChCNS about holding their off-the-schedule (as a matter of fact, an additional) audit of the activities of the organization.
The Chechen Committee of National Salvation declares the absence of any lawful grounds for holding an off-the-schedule audit by the Federal Registration Service. This is one of the claims put forward by the ChCNS to the "Rosregistratsia". The second claim refers to the certificate about the alleged resistance made by the members of the organization, and the third one - to the written warning made by the "Rosregistratsia".
Upon petition of the claimant the court requested from "Rosregistratsia" to present the documents confirming or denying the arguments of the ChCNS. We note here that in the opinion of the human rights organization the main one among these arguments, which is "the true reason" for prosecuting the ChCNS with the aim to liquidate it, is a certain document of "restricted use", which was identified at the court session as a letter, which had been received by the DFRS for the RI from the Ingush Department of the FSB (Federal Security Bureau).
