In Azerbaijan, the state of health of the arrested ex-minister of economic development is worse

The state of health of Farkhad Aliev, arrested ex-minister of economic development of Azerbaijan, has again worsened. He suffers from strong heartaches and requires hospitalization.

Human rights activist Elchin Bekhbudov has informed the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent that on February 4 he had a meeting with the ex-minister in the prison and is sure that Mr Aliev is really suffering from heartaches and needs inpatient treatment.

Mr Bekhbudov has added that F. Aliev's state of health causes a lot of concern, and he should be immediately transferred to the prison hospital. In this connection, the human rights activist has sent a respective petition to the top managers of the Ministry for National Security (MNS).

Let us note here that as the "Caucasian Knot" has reported earlier, Farkhad Aliev, who is now in prison, announced a hunger strike in protest against the absence of proper medical aid.
