President of Ingushetia is on the mend

As reported by Adam Gazdiev, press secretary of the permanent mission of Ingushetia at the President of the Russian Federation, President of Ingushetia Yunus-Bek Evkurov, who was wounded in a terror act on June 22, is on the mend.

"No essential changes are observed, but he is quickly becoming better, and doctors are optimistic in their forecasts," the "Newsru.com" Agency quotes Mr Gazdiev.

President's brother Uvais Evkurov, who was also wounded in the attack, has confirmed that the health condition of Yunus-Bek is better.

"Yunus-Bek Evkurov has come to senses; his condition has considerably improved. Doctors believe that he will recover in 3-4 weeks, maximum - in a month," Uvais Evkurov said.

According to Uvais, his brother's condition is improving much faster than physicians had expected. As to himself, Uvais said that he is OK, he can walk and today arrived in Ingushetia, as reported by the "Interfax".
