Isa Yamadaev asks Investigatory Committee to guard him from killers

Isa Yamadaev has lodged an application to Alexander Bastrykin, head of the Russian ICPO, asking him to protect him from hired gunmen. He asserts that an attempt on him is being prepared, and the order to kill has already arrived to "very serious killers."

We remind you that earlier, this May in Dubai, an attempt was made on Isa's brother - former commander of the "Vostok" battalion Sulim Yamadaev. However, there was no official confirmation of Sulim's death. Their elder brother - Ruslan Yamadaev, deputy of the State Duma of the fourth convocation - was shot dead in Moscow last September.

As reported by Radio Liberty with reference to one of Yamadaevs' friends, there are no obvious threats to Isa, but they exist; therefore he asks the ICPO to take measures.

The "Interfax" reports that the ICPO makes no comments on Isa Yamadaev's application.
