Head of Tsa-Vedeno settlement was killed in Chechnya

The head of the administration of the Tsa-Vedeno settlement Supyan Yusupov was killed in the Vedensk region of Chechnya on Tuesday. It was reported by the acting head of the Vedensk region administration Khanali Gagayev.

According to his words, a group of gunmen in masks and a camouflaged uniform opened automatic fire at Yusupov when he was going to work. The Tsa-Vedeno administration head died of wounds at the scene.

The criminals remained unidentified. Law-enforcement structures believe they were illegal armed unit members. The investigation has been launched.
