Some of refugees from Azerbaijan who became Armenian citizens are permitted to privatize hostel rooms free of charge
As the head of the Department for Migration and Refugees under the republican government Gagik Eganian informed in his interview on Tuesday, this decision was made by the Armenian government on Wednesday.
However, according to Gagik Eganian, such a right will be given only to those refugees who have been leaving for 3 years in the dwelling that they ask for and provided that this home belongs to a budget organization.
Gagik Eganian noticed that those rooms are subject to privatization where living conditions are more or less close to those in the flats. "122 refugee families living in 10 hostels will get dwelling," says Gagik Eganian.
As for refugees living in the hostels of off-budget organizations, their issue remains open.
