Terror act at Nazran ROVD could be committed by Said Buryatskiy

The terrorist-suicide bomber, who blew up the ROVD building in Nazran on August 17, could be Alexander Tikhomirov, 27, one of the main Wahhabites' ideologists in Northern Caucasus, also known as Sheikh Said Buryatskiy. In a video record that appeared in the Internet he declares his intention to commit a terror act.

The video appeared on Wednesday, August 26, on one of Chechen separatists' websites and shows Said Buryatskiy, who justifies, with the help of quotations from the Koran, the need to fight against those whom he calls "Allah's enemies". The filming was made in a car, and as Buryatskiy asserts a barrel with explosive and metal rod fragments is behind him. The authors of the video clip assert that the barrel was used for the Nazran terror act. The caption says that "the operation was executed by Sheikh-shahid Said Abu Saad."

The "Ingushetia.Org" reports that apart from Said Buryatskiy's address, the website presents a video of the explosion itself.

Law enforcement bodies have already stated that they possessed information about involvement of one of terrorists' ideologists in latest frequent attacks of suicide bombers. In particular, it was reported that terror act in Nazran, which killed 25 persons and wounded 260, was the next step after the attempt on President of Ingushetia Yunus-Bek Evkurov. Shortly before the attempt, one of the rebels' websites had placed Said Buryatskiy's video address, in which he took responsibility for that terror act.

In his turn, President of Chechnya Ramzan Kadyrov said that, according his sources, Said Buryatskiy trained, for one and a half years, terrorist-suicide bomber Rustam Mukhadiev, also known as Bychok (bull-calf), who triggered a bomb on July 26 in the Theatre Square in Grozny.

"However, nobody could assume that ideologist Said Buryatskiy would become a suicide bomber himself," the "Gazeta.GZT.ru" reports. "Now this information is carefully checked by the investigation. Officially, the remains of the terrorist, who blew up a 'Gazel' minivan stuffed with explosive in the GOVD yard, are not identified yet."
