CTO regime introduced in two villages of Ingushetia

In Ingushetia, in the vicinity of the villages of Ekazhevo and Gazi-Yurt of the Nazran District of the republic, today the counterterrorist operation (CTO) regime was announced at 10:00 a.m. because of a threat of a terrorist attack.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported earlier that on September 8 the CTO regime was introduced in Nazran, where a fight with IAF members was on. As a result, two suspected militants were killed, and two peaceful residents were wounded.

As reported today by the PR group of the Department of the FSB for Ingushetia, currently, the area, where the CTO is conducted, is completely blocked by MIA troops.

The PR group has noted that the CTO regime was introduced because of the available operative information about groups of militants, who hide in the forest and prepare to commit subversive and terrorist acts in the territory of the republic, the ITAR-TASS reports.

In the context of introduction of the CTO regime, a number of restrictions was introduced for the population, informs the "Interfax". Now, power agents are sweeping the localities.
