Kadyrov challenges sums of compensation under his claim against HRC "Memorial"

Ramzan Kadyrov's advocate has appealed against the decision of the Tver Court of Moscow to partially satisfy Kadyrov's claim against Oleg Orlov, head of the HRC "Memorial".

Yesterday, on October 14, as the "Caucasian Knot" reported, the decision of the court was appealed against by the defence of the respondent - the HRC "Memorial".

"A brief cassation complaint was submitted to the Moscow City Court," Andrei Krasnenkov, Kadyrov's advocate, said today.

According to his story, the decision was appealed against because of the compensation sums to be collected from the "Memorial" and Orlov in Kadyrov's favour. "I've written that I don't agree with compensation sums and find them symbolic," the "Interfax" quotes the lawyer as saying.

On October 14, the respondents also sent their brief cassation complaint to the Moscow City Court. "The respondents ask to cancel it and refuse to satisfy the claims. As soon as they get the complete decision of the court, they'll add the cassation complaint," the "Gazeta.Ru" quotes the statement of the "Memorial".
