Appeals to jihad confiscated from imam of colony mosque in North Ossetia

A telephone SIM card with an appeal to jihad and photos of Doku Umarov and Shamil Basaev were found and confiscated from imam of the mosque, located in a maximum security colony in North Ossetia.

As reported by Colonel Nevedya Byazrov, deputy head for personnel and education of the Department for North Ossetia of the Russian UFSIN (Federal Service for Correction), the imam was placed into dungeon for three months.

"Jimmy Tanduev had a number of punishments; he was repeatedly placed into the penal insulator, twice transferred into sole cells for malicious violations of the prison order. That is, cellular phones and other forbidden articles are constantly confiscated from him," Mr Byazrov said.
