Lawyer Sergey Kvasov was beaten in central Makhachkala on April 9 by five unidentified persons in masks. He is still unconscious and kept in the resuscitation ward.

The "Caucasian Knot" was informed by Mayerbak Agaev, a correspondent of the "Chernovik" newspaper, that the lawyer was in a hairdressing salon, when several black VAZ-2110 cars with tinted glasses drove up there.

"Five or six persons rushed into the premise and started beating Kvasov with concrete reinforcing bars. Two attackers were in masks, the others – without them. A woman from the saloon ran to call the militia; however, militiamen appeared only in half an hour," Mr Agaev said.
