Russian peacekeeper has been released from captivity in Georgia

As a result of joint actions conducted by Russian peacekeepers in the Georgian-Abkhazian conflict zone and Georgian law enforcement agencies, a Russian peacekeeper, Grigory Derevyannykh, was released from captivity on Tuesday night in one of the villages in Georgia's Zugdidi district, the district police reported.

The Russian servicemen had been abducted by unknown people in the center of Zugdidi last Saturday.
