First batch of foreign passports arrived to Abkhazia
The first batch of Abkhazian passports for travels abroad made in Russia was brought to Sukhumi.
As reported on July 18 by Valery Maliya, head of the Passport and Visa Service (PVS) of the republic, in the next few days the passports will be given out to citizens of the republic.
"First of all they will be issued to the students, who have no Russian citizenship but go to study in Russia, and to citizens in need of urgent treatment outside the republic," he said.
The right to receive a foreign passport will belong only to those citizens who have internal Abkhazian passports, the "Interfax" reports.
