Isa Yamadaev pardons convicts for his brother's murder in exchange of pardoning his family's feudists
The reconciliation that took place in the end of August this year between President of Chechnya Ramzan Kadyrov and the Yamadaev clan, represented by Isa Yamadaev, has received further development. Isa has stated that he is ready to pardon one of the two convicts in Dubai sentenced for murdering Sulim Yamadaev - Makhdi Lorniya, Ramzan Kadyrov's personal horseman.
A close friend of the Yamadaevs told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent, on conditions of anonymity, that Isa's statement about pardoning Lorniya is not occasional. The source asserts that Isa Yamadaev acts according to the arrangements reached earlier with Ramzan Kadyrov.
"The Yamadaev family pardons its feudists in exchange for pardon received from the feudists of the family. This is the agreement reached during Isa's meeting with Kadyrov. The visit paid by Ramzan Kadyrov and Adam Delimkhanov to Yamadaevs' house in Gudermes to Sulim's commemoration was already a sign of reconciliation, since these two particular officials were regarded by Isa Yamadaev as organizers and customers of his brothers' murders," said the source.
He noted that the reconciliation was not so simple. "Ramzan Kadyrov also urged Yamadaevs' feudists to pardon them. For example, the Yamadaevs were in blood feud with the Khambievs (Magomed Khambiev is former Minister of Defence of Ichkeria and deputy of the present parliament of Chechnya, - comment of the "Caucasian Knot"). The Yamadaevs were involved in kidnapping and subsequent murder of the Khambievs' younger brother," the source asserted.
Besides, he believes, Isa Yamadaev's pardoning of the persons involved in murdering his brother was undertaken for some other reasons. "It concerns further destiny of his younger brother Badruddi, who is in federal search since last year on charges of committing grave crimes. There are also some other aspects of this case, related to businesses of the Yamadaev family, and so on," said the source.
