Umarov's fellow fighter killed as a result of a special operation in Ingushetia

On March, 28, Supyan Abdulaev, invariable companion of Dokku Umarov, leader of armed underground, was killed as a result of a special operation carried out by the personnel of enforcement agencies in the mountains of Ingushetia, a source in Ingush law enforcement bodies reported.

It should be reminded that according to preliminary data, 17 gunmen were killed and two detained in Sunzha district of Ingushetia. Members of power ministries do not rule out that Dokku Umarov and Amir Khamzat were among those killed in Ingushetia but they still have no reliable data confirming that leader of Chechen gunmen Dokku Umarov might be among the killed persons.

According to the source, the version of Umarov's death "has significant verisimilitude".

The source emphasized that "according to operative data, Abdulaev and Umarov have always been inseparable which provides reasons to believe that Umarov was killed during this operation, too", "Interfax" reports.

There is no official corroboration of Abdulaev's death yet.

Yunus-Bek Yevkurov, Head of Ingushetia, declared that "the operation of liquidation of the gangsters' group had taken a long time to prepare. Federal an Ingush enforcement units took part in it", "Gazeta.ru" reports.
