Krasnodar Territory: Prosecutor's Office accuses 12 officials of concealing incomes

In the Belorechensk District of the Krasnodar Territory, the inter-district prosecutor's office has found out, while checking the enforcement of the legislation on state civil service and counteracting corruption, that 12 officials of the Department of Social Protection concealed part of their incomes. This was reported by the press service of the Territorial Prosecutor's Office.

The check found that the officials had presented false information about themselves and their family members, as well as false data about the incomes received by them and about the property owned by them under the right of ownership.

The civil servants "forgot" to mention their own land estates, objects of construction in progress, as well as monetary funds held in bank accounts, the RBC reports.

The Prosecutor's Office has sent a presentation to the above Department demanding to eliminate violations of the existing anticorruption legislation. The Department has found the claims reasonable; while 12 bureaucrats were disciplinarily punished, the Open Information Agency reports. Their names, positions and form of punishment are not disclosed.
