South Caucasian Inter-Parliamentary Initiative meeting in Scotland: main subject-matter is Nagorny Karabakh
An enlarged sitting of the South Caucasian Inter-Parliamentary Initiative with participation of deputies from Armenia, Azerbaijan and Georgia opened in Scotland on December 16.
The Armenian and Azerbaijan delegations met privately on the first day of the forum in Speyside city to discuss the settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. The main sitting will be held in the Scottish capital of Edinburgh on December 17-20, where the delegations of the three South Caucasian countries will discuss urgent regional problems. The main subject-matter of the sitting will be the settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
It should be reminded that two meetings - in Strasbourg and Tbilisi - were earlier held within the framework of the South Caucasian Inter-Parliamentary initiative.
