Motherland-Ayrenik Front takes on responsibility for working out proposals on resolution of Karabakh conflict

The Armenian authorities assert that there is no alternative to the resolution of the Karabakh conflict proposed by superpowers, reads the statement distributed by the opposition "Motherland-Ayrenik" Popular Front. According to the authors of the statement, recently the Karabakh problem has appeared to be in the center of the country's political life again. But unlike Azerbaijan, "Armenia performs as a poor defender." Starting from the fact that today no political force takes on responsibility for working out proposals on the conflict resolution, the "Ayrenik" Popular Front calls upon all citizens and politicians to take an active part in "the complex actions it is to organize soon." As for the political situation in the country, the Front leader, Garnik Margarian, stated that the organization would continue its fight against the non-legitimate authorities. The creation of civil committees in the country seems to be one of the most important goals of the Front, noted Mr. Markarian.
