Eighteen illegal migrants from Vietnam detained in Ingushetia

In the west of Ingushetia, the Federal Migration Service (FMS) detained 18 Vietnamese nationals, illegally residing in the territory of Russia.

The foreigners were found in the course of inspection of the building site in the city of Magas, the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent reports.

Employees of the FMS managed to find out that the Vietnamese had no documents authorizing their work in the territory of Russia; while only three of them could present their IDs.

The "Caucasian Knot" correspondent learnt from the local law enforcers that the workers had been brought to Magas by a local businessman engaged in construction business in the territory of Ingushetia.

In the near future, a decision will be made on deporting the foreigners to their homeland. The police should clear out how the Vietnamese could get to Ingushetia without relevant documents.

Let us remind you that on July 14, the employees of the FSB Department for Ingushetia detained, together with employees of the local FMS, 22 foreign citizens in the villages of Plievo and Ekazhevo of the Nazran District, who illegally stayed in Russia and worked without permits. All the detainees were also citizens of Vietnam.
