Next court session on massacre in Kuschevskaya scheduled for December 12

The next court session on the case of Andrei Bykov, one of the figurants in the massacre in the village of Kuschevskaya will take place on December 12. The official representative of the Krasnodar Territorial Court has confirmed that Bykov's case is considered in special order.

Let us remind you that yesterday, on December 8, the trial of Andrei Bykov began at the Krasnodar Territorial Court; he is accused of complicity in the murder of 16 humans. According to investigators, he participated in the murders of four villagers committed over several years, and in the mass murder committed in the house of Server Ametov on November 4, 2010.

The victims insisted that the case should be considered in the ordinary way; however, according to their version, the court decided to consider it in a special order, as requested by the defendant.

The next court hearing is scheduled for December 12; it will hear the debates of the parties, the "Yuga.ru" reports.

The judge said at the session that the defendant is charged under Articles 105 (murder), 162 (robbery), 166 (misappropriation of transport without aim of theft), 167 (intentional destruction or damage to property), 209 (banditism), 222 (illegal arms and ammunition trafficking), 326 (faking a license number of a vehicle) of the Russian Criminal Code. Then, the media people were asked to leave the court room, the "Interfax" reports.

The first session of the trial in Krasnodar was attended by victims, including Jalil, the son of the killed Server Ametov, the Srebny spouses - parents of Natalia Kasyan, who was murdered in Ametov's house, Olga Bogachova, whose husband and son were murdered, and mother and brother of Leonid Kadyan, who, according to the prosecution, was killed with participation of Andrei Bykov in 2006.

Vladimir and Svetlana Srebny said, while holding photos of their assassinated daughter and grandson, said that they were allowed to read the protocol of Bykov's interrogation Bykov, from which it follows that in the course of the massacre in the Ametov's house the member of the Organized Criminal Grouping (OCG) allegedly did not personally stub the victims, but only passed the knife from one bandit to another. "We don't believe that he didn't kill. We won't be satisfied, if the court softens Bykov's sentence because he had allegedly repented. This man, like the rest of Tsapkov's bandits, deserves a life sentence," said Svetlana Srebny.

Olga Bogachova, the widow and mother of the husband and son, killed by Bykov, does not lose hope that not only direct killers, but also their patrons in power and state structures, will be justly punished. "So far, they got slightly frightened. In fact, no one was punished," the woman said, as quoted by the "Rossiiskaya Gazeta".

Andrei Bykov's defender - the lawyer of the North-Ossetian Bar Ella Kundukhova, and the prosecutor Murat Tamazov refused from comments. No Bykov's relatives appeared at the trial. The next session will hear the argument of the parties; then, the sentence may be passed within two weeks, the "Kommersant" writes.
