Explosion in electric train in Essentuki left 42 people dead

According to the latest data, the number of people died as a result of the explosion in the electric train in Essentuki has reached 42, a source at the operation headquarters to liquidate the consequences of the terrorist act reported in the evening of December 5. So, 35 people died at the site of the terrorist act, the other 7 died in a hospital, the source informed. Altogether 208 people fell victims to the explosion. 151 of them are in-patients now, 2 people have already been discharged from hospital, and the other 13 were provided ambulatory care.

30 out of 42 bodies of the dead have been identified, the source reported.
