In Makhachkala, woman and two children taken out of blocked house, Gyulnara Rustamova asserts

Before the assault of the house in Makhachkala, as a result of negotiations, one of the women with two children was convinced to leave the blocked building. The second woman refused to leave. This was reported by Gyulnara Rustamova, co-Chair of the human rights organization "Pravozaschita" (Advocacy).

On March 11, a special operation to liquidate suspected militants was started in the capital of Dagestan. Today, power agents reported that, according to preliminary information, during the assault on the house, three persons, including one woman, were killed.

A source at the city law enforcement agencies reported that two killed men were members of the armed underground, one of them was Eldos Zulfugarov, the leader of the Makhachkala armed underground, and a woman was a wife of a killed militant.

Gyulnara Rustamova told the "Caucasian Knot"" that women and children were blocked at the house on March 11, after the introduction of the counterterrorist operation (CTO) regime in the area.

According to the human rights defender, during the negotiations, "which had been difficult", she managed to convince one of the women to go out of the building together with two children. The second woman refused to leave the house and was killed during the assault on the house.
