In Dagestan, relatives of casualties of Kizlyar brawl block road "Rostov-Baku" Highway again

Starting from the second half of the day, in Dagestan, the repeated protest action is being conducted, during which the relatives of the persons killed in the brawl in Kizlyar again blocked the Federal Highway "Rostov-Baku". In total, the action involves more than 2000 persons.

The participants of the protesters action demanded the resignation of Andrei Vinogradov, the head of the Kizlyar District, whose bodyguards, according to the protestors' information, were involved into the armed incident.

"We are indignant at the way the Dagestani media cover the tragedy. In particular, it was stated that the manslaughter occurred during the criminal shoot-outs. At the same time, all journalists know that unarmed people were brazenly and openly shot dead by the bodyguards of Andrei Vinogradov, the head of the Kizlyar District," said Khalil Gazimagomedov, one of the participants of the protest action.

According to him, Magomed Abdurashidov, Dagestan Minister of Internal Affairs, and other top-ranking officials have already met the protesters.

"We demand that all the criminals will be punished in accordance with the law. Four bodyguards were arrested, and five others are still walking free. When they are sentenced to imprisonment, then the people will calm down," Khalil Gazimagomedov has emphasized.

A source at the Kizlyar law enforcement agencies has confirmed that the district really hosts the protest action.
