Stavropol Territory: elections to City Council of Lermontov to be held on June 17
The Stavropol Territorial Court has appointed the elections to the City Council of the fifth convocation of the city of Lermontov for June 17, 2012.
"The elections were scheduled for June 17; now, a temporary election commission of ten persons is formed to be in charge of organizing the elections; the court made this decision on the initiative of the prosecutor's office," a source from the Lermontov City Court has explained.
The RIA "Novosti" reports that the court has obliged the Territorial CEC to form the above temporary election commission.
Once the commission is formed, it will start accepting documents from candidates, the "Interfax" reports.
