The trial on Dvorakovsky and Skirko’s case in Stavropol region is going in a non-public regime

The process against Victor Dvorakovsky and Vladimir Skirko accused of preparation of an act of terror and extremism in Stavropol regional court is closed for the press upon a request of the aggrieved policemen.

Victor Dvorakovsky is accused of preparation of an act of terror and infringement on the lives of law enforcement personnel, illegal manufacturing and storage of explosives, swindle and extremism. Vladimir Skirko is accused of extremism, illegal purchasing and storage of narcotic drugs.

According to the investigation’s version, the suspects showed no less than three of their young friends video records of executions of Russian servicemen shot in the republics of Northern Caucasus and the ones they downloaded from the Internet. Dvorakovsky is also incriminated a credit swindle of one of the banks of Pyatigorsk to a sum of almost 26 thousand rubles.

Stavropol regional court started considering the case on March, 5, and there have been already three considerations on the merits. Representatives on the integrated Press service of the courts of Stavropol region explained the “Caucasian Knot” correspondent that at the first trial on March, 19, State prosecutor Larisa Goncharova read out the indictment.

However, the following part of the process was closed for the press. This was done on the motion of two aggrieved persons on the case: two officers of Patrol and Point Duty Service of the Department of Interior Affairs of Zheleznovodsk who detained Dvorakovsky an night of July, 14, last year. During the detention Dvorakovsky threw a self-made explosive devise into them and the policemen got slightly wounded. The motion was granted by Chief Justice Nicolay Chub.

Representatives of Press service of the courts explained that during the sessions on March, 20 and 22, evidence of the witnesses on the case were heard whose number was no less than thirty persons. The defendants’ relatives are not present at the trial, their defense is being carried out by state-appointed attorneys.
