Stanislav Shisinov shot dead in skirmish in Dagestan

The man, killed during an armed skirmish with policemen in Dagestan, has been identified as Stanislav Shisinov. According to Russia's NAC (National Antiterrorist Committee), he was a member of the "southern" terrorist grouping.

The skirmish burst out when law enforcers came up to examine the body of a stopped car. The policemen opened returned fire. Two militants managed to escape, while the third was killed in a shootout, the NAC reports.

"The casualty was pre-identified as Shisinov Stanislav, born in 1980, an active member of the so-called "southern" subversive-terrorist grouping," the RIA "Novosti" quotes a source from the NAC.

Currently, steps are being taken to identify and detain the remaining figurants of the skirmish, the "Interfax" reports.

The viewpoint of Shisinov's relatives on the information about his participation in illegal armed formations (IAFs) is not yet known.
