Case against suspect of committing terror act in Vladikavkaz brought to court

The Prosecutor's Office has confirmed an indictment in the case against Islam Khashagulgov, the resident of the Republic of Ingushetia, suspected of manufacturing an explosive device, triggered in 2010 at the market in Vladikavkaz. This was reported by the Russian General Prosecutor's Office.

"According to investigators, Islam Khashagulgov was directly involved into manufacturing of an explosive device, which was triggered by a suicide bomber on September 9, 2010, at the market in Vladikavkaz," the statement of the Prosecutor's Office reports.

Furthermore, according to the General Prosecutor's Office, Islam Khashagulgov was a member of the armed organized grouping "Magas", which was a part of the criminal community "Vilayat Galgaiche". "He took part in the shelling of the military unit deployed in the Cossack village of Troitskaya of the Sunzha District and the stationary post of the road-and-patrol service "Volga-17" in the village of Yandar of the Nazran District. He was also involved into the terror act committed by a suicide bomber at the checkpoint in the village of Chermen of the Prigorodny District of North Ossetia, shelling of private houses of citizens in the village of Yandar," the website of the Prosecutor's Office emphasizes.

The position of Islam Khashagulgov or his representatives is still not available.
