Participants of mass brawl in Tuapse sanatorium "Don" sentenced to probation
The Tuapse District Court has sentenced the participants of the mass brawl in the territory of the resort complex "Don".
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that as a result of the events on July 25, 2010, in the children's camp "Don" children were injured. It was reported that the brawl was held by local residents and children from Chechnya. Then, law enforcers detained seven alleged fighters.
On March 26, the Tuapse District Court upheld the evidences presented by the public prosecutor, who represented the Territorial Prosecutor's Office, and found Arthur Boladyan, Gevorg Agabekyan, Leonid Reznikov, Victor Ingilizyan, Vyacheslav Djevelek and Kamo Manukyan guilty of disorderly conduct (hooliganism).
"As established at the court session, on July 25, 2010, a group of young people living in the Tuapse District, learnt that a conflict had burst out in the children's health centre "Don", where the persons who had arrived to have their rest from Chechnya insulted a minor girl from Rostov and members of the personnel of the recreation complex, and inflicted bodily injuries to the deputy director of the 'Don' Complex," – says the official website of the Prosecutor's Office of the Krasnodar Territory.
The state prosecutor managed to prove that in the evening on that very day, about 150 people, including those convicted ones, entered the camp, where attacked and beat, using sticks and stones, 13 tourists who came from Chechnya, the portal "News of the Prosecutor's Office of the Russian federation" reports.
Each of the convicts was sentenced to two years of conditional imprisonment with a probation period of one year, the "Yuga.ru" reports.
So far, the reaction of the convicts, their relatives and representatives in the court to the sentence is still unknown. It is also unknown whether the convicts are going to challenge the verdict of the court.
