Disappearances
The information about detention on March 24 in the outskirts of Makhachkala of people suspected of possessing weapons has nothing to do with reality; this was stated on March 26 by activists of the Human Rights Centre (HRC) "Memorial" and the NGO "Pravozaschita" (Advocacy). Besides, according to their data, the fate of the two girls who, after their official release, did not come home, is still unknown.
In Dagestan, relatives of Magomed, 31, and Abdullah, 30, Murtuzaliev cannot establish their whereabouts and fear that they might have been kidnapped, and their lives and health were at risk. Their mother, a resident of Makhachkala Zoya Abdulaeva, came to the HRC "Memorial" asking to help to find her missing sons.
Rosa Aishaeva and Larissa Nagoeva, resident of Tyrnyauz and Nalchik, accordingly, appeal to human rights activists for help in defending their sons' rights; the women assert that the sons –Murata Aishaev and Murat Nagoev – were kidnapped by power agents. According to their mothers, the young men were tortured and forced to confess of their involvement in the armed underground.
