It should be reminded that Djakaev was detained during a special operation on March, 1, when 25 to 30 armed people drove up to his house in the settlement of Mashalaul, Khasavyurt district, in military vehicles. The detainee's attorney Sapiyat Magomedova told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent that a charge according to clause 222 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (illegal storage of arms) was brought against him. However, his relatives state that the gun confiscated from Djakaev during search was planted to him and the man was severely beaten up on March, 17.

Sapiyat Magomedova directed an inquiry to Chief of the investigative isolation ward of Khasavyurt asking to establish whether bodily injuries were found during the examination of her client who was moved there from the Department of Interior Affairs of Khasavyurt district and if any which exactly.

"The reply I received ran that at the moment of Abdurahman Djakaev's delivery to the investigative isolation ward he was examined by a medic of the medical unit who found scratches and hematomas on the detainee's body", Sapiyat Magomedova says.

Chief of district Department of Interior Affairs of Khasavyurt Marat Imavov denies the information of lawless actions against the detained man. The police officer told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent that he personally would "submit a complaint of Magomedova's slander".
