Commissar of "Nashi" goes on hunger strike in response to Shein's action in Astrakhan

Today, a protest action of the youth movement will start in Astrakhan against the ex-candidate for the city Mayor Oleg Shein and his supporters. This was reported by Konstantin Goloskokov, Commissar of the movement "Nashi".

According to Konstantin Goloskokov, the Astrakhan hunger strike against the outcomes of election of the Mayor is "a falsification and a PR act," the "Russian News Service" reports.

"A man aged Shein just can't stay for 28 days without food without special training. This is a physical fact. He has long had to be in the intensive care unit, but instead he walks around and speaks to townspeople," said Goloskokov.

Activists of the "Nashi" are outraged at the fact that Moscow public figures and politicians have arrived in Astrakhan to support the hunger-strikers.

"We stand against the fact that a whole crew of Moscow parasites, who have no business - Navalny and Yashin - came to support this falsification. Apparently, it seemed cold for them in Moscow; and they decided to try the regional component of their technologies," said the Commissar of the youth movement.

Activists of the "Nashi" also opposed "the artificial escalation of tensions in Astrakhan by Moscow political technologists," the "Grani.ru" reports.

As stated Goloskokov, he intends to hold his hunger strike next to the Shein's place. The "counter hunger strike" will last until Oleg Shein quits his action.

  • Religion experts explain motives for militants’ attacks on synagogue and temple in Dagestan

Ayats (verses) of the Koran, references to which were left by attackers at a synagogue in Derbent, are interpreted by the extremists to justify their confrontation with Jews and Christians, Leonid Syukiyainen and Dmitry Mikulsky point out. The experts suggest that the date of the attack on the Orthodox temple was chosen by the militants because of the Christian holiday celebrated on that day.
