Sheiyn appealed to court about violations at 173 polling stations of Astrakhan

Ex-nominee for Mayor's office of Astrakhan Oleg Sheiyn submitted a lawsuit to Kirov district court of the city demanding nullification of the election of Mayor of Astrakhan held on March, 4, this year. In his lawsuit he reported violations at 173 polling stations of the city, the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent informs.

Kirov district of Astrakhan court accepted Sheiyn's application of nullification of the election of Mayor of Astrakhan. A hard disk with records of the video cameras from the polling stations of the city applied to the lawsuit was also accepted.

"Today Chief justice will accept and initial the lawsuit and then after consideration appoint the judge", "Interfax-Yug" media agency quotes assistant judge Elena Tsyplugina.

Oleg Seiyn received all the video records from the web-cameras at the polling stations from Central Election Committee yet on April, 12. Before filing the lawsuit Sheiyn's team analyzed and made copies of the videos stating that they expected corroboration of violations at no less than 120 polling stations.
