200 people came out for a meeting against the physicians’ negligence in Krasnodar

On May, 21, about 200 residents of the Crimea district of Krasnodar region took part in a meeting against the physicians’ negligence during which they collected signatures under the demand to punish those guilty of a twenty-four-years-old local resident’s death.

The reason for the meeting was the death of a young woman aged 24 in the local hospital after her second childbirth. Her relatives state that the girl died after waiting for the physicians for three days. The investigators are currently making clear the circumstances of the accident, “Yugopolis” reports.

Neither the management of the hospital nor representatives of the authorities were present at the meeting. The participants collected signatures under the demand to punish the personnel of the clinic.

According to the participants, the level of the residents’ trust to the physicians of local hospital had fallen so low that they decided to appeal to the President of the Russian Federation”, STRC “Kuban” reports.

Representatives of the authorities or the hospital have not yet commented on the statements of the participants of the action.
