Magomedov detained during a special operation in Dagestan released

Today Abdurahman Magomedov detained on May, 19, during a special operation in Makhachkala was released from Kirov district Department of Interior Affairs, his attorney Ziyavdin Uvaisov reported.

We will remind that on May, 18, law enforcement officers blocked a house in Yubileinaya street of Makhachkala. During an armed confrontation on May, 19, Mahmud Mansur suspected of having organized an act of terror on May, 3, was killed. There was also Abdurahman Magomedov and three women with children in the house. The women and children were released after interrogation and Magomedov was detained by the personnel of the Department of Interior Affairs.

"Magomedov was released today, nobody makes claims on him. Now Abdurahman is at large but he does not want to comment on his own detention and release", Ziyavdin Uvaisov said to the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.

He also refuted the information of beating up the detainee. "I visited him on May, 19, when Abdurahman was in the office of Kirov district Department of Interior Affairs. He stated that nobody beat him up", the lawyer said.

Earlier, the "Caucasian Knot" also reported that in the evening of May, 19, the family and friends of the people detained in the special operation came to building of Kirov district Department of Interior Affairs. A scuffle with the policemen occurred. As a result, nine persons were detained and got three to five days of administrative arrest.
